Active travel has demonstrable benefits for our community, young people and overloaded health system when adequately funded and promoted.
AMA Queensland’s Climate & Sustainability Working Group has developed an Active Travel Position Statement to promote active travel across three broad areas:
- transport systems
- the health sector
- individual clinicians
