Refer a Member campaign

AMA Queensland’s Refer a Member campaign offers an outstanding financial incentive for existing members to introduce new doctors to join AMA Queensland. If you refer a colleague who successfully joins AMA Queensland, you will receive 25 per cent off your next year's membership. This 25 per cent discount applies for each doctor you refer (maximum four referrals per year). Terms and conditions apply.

By participating in the campaign, participants agree to the following terms and conditions. 

  1. The Refer a Member campaign is open to all existing members of AMA Queensland. 
  2. The discount is applicable only to full fee-paying memberships. 
  3. To be eligible for the discount, the referring member must be a full member for at least three months at the time of the referral. 
  4. The newly referred member must provide AMA Queensland with the name and membership details of the referring member at the time of joining. Page 2 of the AMA Queensland membership application form includes a referring member section. 
  5. The referring member’s discount is valid for the first 12 months of the new member's membership, starting from the beginning of the calendar year following the newly referred member’s enrolment. 
  6. The discount is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of payment. 
  7. The newly referred member must meet AMA Queensland's membership eligibility criteria and complete the necessary registration process. 
  8. The campaign is subject to change or cancellation at the discretion of AMA Queensland, and any changes will be communicated to members through official AMA Queensland channels. 
  9. AMA Queensland reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants and to disqualify any participant who does not satisfy these terms and conditions. 
  10. AMA Qld is not responsible for any technical or communication issues that may prevent participation in or the receipt of the discount. 
  11. The decisions of AMA Queensland regarding the eligibility of participants, the discount or any dispute arising from the campaign are final and binding. 
  12. By participating in the campaign, participants grant AMA Queensland the right to use their names and any submitted content for promotional purposes without any additional compensation. 
  13. Both the referring member and the newly referred member acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions before participating in the Refer a Member campaign.
